PRP are an experienced multidisciplinary team of structural, civil and geotechnical engineers and have a vacancy for an Assistant Geo-environmental Consultant/Engineering Geologist to join our expanding team in Pitsford, Northamptonshire.
What you will do:
- Support both field and office work across environmental and geotechnical projects.
- Work on projects from initial walkover to verification of remedial works.
- Assist with site assessments and investigations.
- Help prepare reports and technical documents.
- Work with experienced colleagues and contribute to meaningful project outcomes.
What we re looking for from you:
- A degree in environmental science or geology.
- Around 18 months to 2 years’ experience (flexible for the right candidate).
- A full UK driving licence.
- Experience of writing Phase I reports.
- Understanding of contamination assessments from Stage 1 Tier 1 to Stage 3.
- Experience of geo-environmental and geotechnical site work.
- Experience of soil and rock logging under BS5930.
- Good communication skills and confidence with basic software (MS Office).
- Good critical thinking skills for interpretation and technical report.
