PRP are proudly sponsoring a local youth U16s rugby team by providing their full playing/training kit for the 2021/2022 season.
Vipers RFU, based in Whetstone, Leicester were established in 1920 and have been teaching rugby to local children from age 4 right through to adults for over 100 years. They train every week and play matches most weekends at various clubs across the whole of the Midlands.
The club is run on an entirely voluntary basis, from the coaches and team support through to all the various admin functions required to run a club of this size and they do it because they want to help develop the children and encourage their sporting ability; they also love the place the club holds in the local community.
The 2021/2022 season is being celebrated as their centenary year as this could not be celebrated the year before due to Covid.
Delina Mackness, U16s manager said, “The coaches, entire team and I are extremely grateful for the support we have received from PRP and our team look very professional and feel honoured to be representing their club and PRP. We hope we do them proud this season.”.
