Position

  • Prepare design calculations and drawings for both foul and surface water drainage systems
  • Carry out flood risk assessments and drainage strategies
  • Complete section 184, 278 and 38 agreements to local councils
  • Complete section 104 and 106 agreements to water companies
  • Visit sites which include commercial, industrial and housing developments
  • Deal with local authority planning departments and lead local flood authorities
  • Represent PRP UK Ltd at meetings with clients, consultants and contractors

Key Skills 

You will:

  • Have an engineering based degree
  • Be experienced in the design of foul and surface water drainage systems
  • Plan and execute intrusive ground and flood risk investigations
  • Write full detailed factual and interpretive reports that comply with the NPPF document where applicable
  • Be self-managing, well organised and be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of SuDS and flood risk assessments
  • Be familiar with the MicroDrainage software package
  • Ideally have knowledge of Tekla Civil 3D software
  • Be familiar with highways design particularly how it interacts with drainage design
  • Be competent in producing drawings in Aut0Cad
  • Have a full UK driving licence and own transport
